Fair Oaks Mall celebrates Virginia's Sales Tax Holiday with special events designed to make back-to-school shopping fun for everyone. Customers will find the hottest new fashions and back-to-school supplies while enjoying no state sales tax on qualifying purchases including school supplies $20 or less and school clothing and shoes $100 or less. This year, Virginia's Sales Tax Holiday will begin Friday, August 7th and end on Sunday, August 9th. Throughout the weekend, Fair Oaks Mall will host an array of entertainment and free samples provided by Auntie Anne’s, Build-A-Bear Workshop, Best Buy Mobile, Chick-fil-A, Cinnabon, Cold Stone Creamery, Luciano Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria, Pepsi, and Piccomolo Italian Ice Cream.
